Finished to 128.8 proof, 2018 Thomas H. Handy Sazerac whiskey contains a mash bill of Minnesota rye, distiller grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn, and N. Dakota malted barley and offers up aromatic hues of aged caramel, cake batter, and butter-cream marzipan. Smell is sweet caramel/vanilla and oak...with basically no traces of warmth. Taste in the wake of covering the tongue is very drying and hot complex finish is long with a long wait of flavor ... a lot of warmth yet I dont get that warm chest feeling that I get from GTS
